This roast turkey delivers a tender yet robust texture with golden, crisp skin and juicy meat. It provides a rich source of complete protein, while being relatively low in fat (especially without skin). In 100 g of cooked roast turkey (meat only, without skin), you get approximately 135 kcal, 3.3 g fat, 0 g carbs, and 24.7 g protein. Storage Instructions & Handling

Upon arrival, keep the turkey refrigerated at 0–4 °C and consume within 2–3 days. If you prefer longer storage, freeze at –18 °C; it will maintain best quality for up to 6–12 months. Thaw in the refrigerator (24–36 h per 3–4 kg) before cooking.


Cooking Ideas & Serving Suggestions

Begin by seasoning with sea salt, cracked pepper, and fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme and sage. Roast in a moderate oven (160–170 °C fan forced) with the breast side up, basting occasionally with pan juices. Use a meat thermometer: the thickest part should reach ~74 °C (internal) for safe doneness. Serve slices with traditional sides — roast vegetables, cranberry relish, gravy or a citrus-herb butter — or use leftovers in sandwiches, salads or hearty soups. For a twist, brine overnight in apple cider, orange juice and herbs to enhance moisture and flavour.
