Kangaroo provides high-quality protein as part of a balanced raw diet. Furthermore, liver supplies vitamin A, iron, zinc, copper and B vitamins.
Kidney contributes protein, iron and B vitamins. Heart also provides iron, selenium, zinc and phosphorus. In addition, green tripe contains naturally occurring enzymes, fatty acids and beneficial bacteria.
Ground bone provides a digestible source of calcium for healthy bones, teeth and joints. Moreover, cod liver oil provides omega-3 fatty acids, EPA, DHA, vitamin A and vitamin D.
Kelp adds naturally occurring vitamins and minerals, including iodine, calcium, iron, zinc and selenium.
Organic Ingredients and Kangaroo Meat
The recipe contains certified organic liver, kidney, heart, green tripe, ground bone and kelp. However, the kangaroo meat cannot carry Australian Certified Organic certification.
Australia does not currently farm organic kangaroo. Therefore, Organic Paws explains that its kangaroo meat comes from wild kangaroos rather than certified organic livestock.
Storage and Serving
Keep the product frozen until you are ready to feed it. Thaw each sealed portion in the refrigerator before serving.
Once thawed, keep the food refrigerated and use it within 2–3 days. Do not refreeze thawed portions.
Importantly, always serve this food raw. Do not cook it because the recipe contains ground bone.
Feeding Ideas
Serve the thawed portion directly in your pet's clean food bowl. Each 2.2 kg box contains eight individually vacuum-sealed 275 g portions.
Furthermore, adjust feeding amounts according to your pet's weight, age, breed and activity level. Puppies under six months should receive their recommended daily amount twice daily.
