The nylon bristles are soft (as recommended by dentists) and the head/bristle size & shape was designed by holistic dentist Dr John Sotis. They are smaller than a usual adult head to get to the back teeth really well, and suitable for children too. The handle can be composted or burnt after cutting and binning the nylon bristles.
