Cumin seeds have an aromatic and curry like flavour. Used in many Indian, Middle Eastern and Moroccan dishes. Their pungent fragrance is well utilized in spice mixes, chutneys, relishes breads, meat and vegetable stews, as well as being combined in some Portuguese sausage recipes! We use them in our homemade spinach & cheese naans, combined with curry powder, onion, garlic and ginger.
